De-Skunking Solution

Nothing is worse than getting sprayed by a skunk. Here in the suburbs of Chicago, skunks are very prevalent! In fact, I do a yard search every night before letting the dogs out to make sure there are no skunks around. But if you or your pets do happen to get sprayed by a skunk, I have used this “skunk wash” with great success!

DE-SKUNKING WASH

DO NOT PRE-MIX!!!! IT’LL EXPLODE ANY CLOSED CONTAINER YOU PUT IT IN.
(WHICH IS WHY SUCH A SUREFIRE CURE ISN’T COMMERCIALLY AVAILABLE.)
•1 QUART HYDROGEN PEROXIDE (NEW BOTTLE)
•¼ CUP BAKING SODA
•2 TABLESPOONS DISH SOAP

1.) WET PET THOROUGHLY WITH MIXTURE
2.) LET SIT A FEW MINUTES,
3.) RINSE WELL
